opposing forces!

Now it happened, when Sanballat, Tobia, the Arabs, the Ammonites and Ashdodites heard that the walls of

Jerusalem were being restored and the gaps were begining to be closed, they became very angry

and all of them conspired together to come and attack Jerusalem and create confusion.

NEHEMIAH 4:6-7

It is interesting to note that whenever we move in the direction of doing a good work, we will encounter an

opposing force. One of the laws of Physics is that for every action there is an equal and oppsite reaction.

We will find this law in effect in our lives as we attempt to do the work that God has set before us. Paul said in

Romans 7:21, so, I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is present with me. In that verse, Paul is trying to tell us that when he purposed to do good, evil

would wake up and come out against him. Knowing this, let us remember that our God is greater than

anything and that no weapon fomed against us can prosper, and we can do all things through Christ who

strengthen us. There is a proverb that says, "God gives even the fool his hire." For you would have to be a fool

to come out against the living God.
