Mark 16:16

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved.

Let us deal with this statement.

If you believe ye do well but you must also be baptized.

Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed? (Spirit)

If not then unto what were ye baptized? (Water)

Acts 19:1-6

1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. 3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. 4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. 5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. (Water) 6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. (Spirit)

There are two baptisms in the bible, water and spirit.

Water is for the remission of sins

Spirit is your seal that you are God’s child

When you truly believe you will be baptized of the water and baptized of the Spirit.
Acts 2:38 declares and give light to both of these baptisms

If you believe and you are not baptized of the water and of the spirit according to the scriptures you cannot be saved.

John 7:38-39

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given: because that Jesus was not yet glorified.

John 12:46

I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

Amen
